I've lived here for eight years. The property management company is gradually improving the property by renovating suites, upgrading utilities (laundry, grounds, security, elevator, and more). There is a good turnaround time when repairs/replacements are needed. The inside and outside of the property is responsibly cared for. The Resident Manager, Michael, really looks after the place. Best manager in awhile. The area is central with easy access to big box stores, restaurants, specialty shops, transit, schools, rec centre and much more. Update: Beware of the resident manager.
He just takes money away (security deposit) from the moving out tenant.
I have been living their for long enough that other tenant got rid of lots of garbage through the trash.
I tried to do the recycle, but the manager told me to throw everything in a garbage disposal, and when I did throw it in garbage, he charged me for throwing away garbage. Now I come to think of it, I truly think that the manager charged me fine for himself to pay for his huge dogs pet deposit fee for his resident at the apartment. Beware! FYI, I do remember that in 2019, when I first moved in, they used to not allow any pets in the apartment.
Spacious and cozy apartment.

I've been living in Gatensbury building for almost 2 years now, and I must say that I'm satisfied with the management of the building overall. Sy, the residential manager, and her husband, Steve, are responsive and attentive to the needs of all tenants. Regardless of the time and circumstance, they are always available to help. In addition, she appears to have a wealth of experience managing buildings, which makes her a top-notch residential manager. I had to live from this place with my family.
I lived in this place for 7 months and this place is very dirty lots of drug dealing activity hallways smell very bad I would not recommend this place this place is not safe they have bugs and ants
And they have mice’s
If something breaks the manager doesn’t even bother to fix it. The heart is not working properly.
People smoking weed and there is no smoking in the building, but funny old tenants can smoke inside the building.
Also Sy is always talking nicely to you but behind your back she’s a very different person.
I don’t recommend this place to anyone mostly with young children. Very expensive, not clean and unprofessional. - a year ago
