Review by Anil Turgut (Rating: 5): Hello everyone,
My name is Anıl, and I’ve been living in this building for 4 years. It’s been my home since my first week in Canada, and I hope this review helps anyone considering moving in.
Positives:
1. Safety: I’ve never experienced theft or lost packages. The building feels very secure, even without on-site security.
2. Location: The location is unbeatable. Everything you need—banks, stores, restaurants, transit, and more—is within walking distance, including the Yonge & Eglinton Centre right downstairs.
3. Midtown Convenience: The shopping center under the building has a cinema, LCBO, Metro, Canada Post, and more. You can access it without stepping outside, even in harsh winters.
4. Maintenance: Issues are resolved quickly via the online portal, usually within 2 days.
5. Catalina and Norman: They are friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist.
6. Unit Size: The apartments are spacious, much larger than units in newer condos.
7. Cleanliness: Despite the building’s age, I’ve had no pest issues in 4 years.
8. Balcony: The balconies are large and perfect for relaxing. I’ll share mine.
Negatives:
1. No Security Staff: While it hasn’t bothered me, some might find this a drawback.
2. Older Building: The building is old, but that comes with benefits like larger unit sizes. And the building age is old but inside is not. Almost every year they are making restoration inside and you feel like a new home.
3. No In-Unit Laundry or Dishwasher: Shared laundry is available on each floor, which might not suit everyone.
4. Parking: Parking costs $275/month at the nearby Yonge Eglinton Centre, as it’s not included in the rent.
Final Thoughts:
While there are pros and cons, this building has been a wonderful home for me, and I don’t think you’ll regret moving here. Special thanks to Catalina and Norman for their amazing support over the years.
Best regards,

Review by diana karina (Rating: 5): I cannot explain how happy it makes me to live in building 33 Orchard View. From the first moment I started my process by asking for information, the way they treated me and my friend was totally understanding and empathetic, despite our endless doubts. The staff is very responsible with regard to security within the building, I have had a very good response with regard to the composure of my apartment in some details. I feel very fortunate to have finally found a quiet and suitable place. I want to congratulate the administration. - 2 months ago
