Review by Sahar Mojaddidi (Rating: 5): I lived at Arlington for two amazing years in one of their 1-bedroom units in the vintage building—the stunning, historic-looking one facing the street. The only reason I had to move was because I relocated for work. Honestly, if I could've stayed forever, I would have.

The community itself is gorgeous, super quiet, and always clean. I loved that they offer both charming historic details in the vintage building and more modern apartments for those who prefer a newer look.

My apartment in the vintage building was HUGE and beautifully designed, especially with the crown and wall moldings. On paper, it was 906 sqft, but it felt way bigger.

I'm not sure about others, but I've never had any packages stolen while I lived there. I did notice people not picking up their packages though, and the boxes sitting there for days or weeks at a time. If they don't pick up their packages when they're supposed to, then obviously there's a risk of them getting stolen. And even though the walls stay warm in the winter, it never got hot, never had to leave the windows open either. The vintage building runs on a boiler system, with each apartment having their own radiators to control the heat. The boiler is generally set at 70-72 degrees, so if the temperature outside drops below that, the heater kicks on. The other two more modern buildings have heaters in each unit with thermostats to control the temperature themselves though.

The property manager, Bev, is incredibly attentive and kind, always ready to help with any needs or concerns. The entire staff is professional and friendly, making sure everything runs smoothly and everyone feels welcome.

The location of Arlington Apartments is unbeatable. Everything is super accessible—groceries are a 5-minute walk away, Caltrain is just a 7-minute walk to the station, restaurants are two streets down, and public transportation is everywhere. In the two years I lived there, I only put about 500 miles on my car. Living here has been an absolute pleasure, and I highly recommend Arlington to anyone looking for their new home. - 7 months ago

Review by Melissa Alcocer (Rating: 5): Really loved living here, I’ve always felt safe at night which is important as I am a single woman living alone. The neighbors are nice, parking is good, not sure what the other reviews are about. I’ve never had a package stolen nor have I had any bug issues. Property manager was accommodating and they did not scam with hidden fees for moving out. - a year ago

Review by Rosalinda Woolard (Rating: 2): The location is great and the neighbors are quiet. However, they use a company called RealPage Utility Management for utilities payments, they are horrible to deal with, they charge $5 to use a credit card, $9 if they don't process your check in time. So I signed up for payment withdrawal from my bank, received an email from RealPage it was all set up, but on the day it was due, they charged me $25 NSF fee and claimed it wasn't set up!
I moved out in May and I am still waiting for RealPage to send me my $119.78 overpayment, I have called 5 times, they claim a check was sent but as of August 3 I have not received my refund, I called Arlington management regarding RealPage but they never responded. - a year ago

Review by Gustavo A. Barron (Rating: 1): I saw the Arquitecture of the front of the bldg. I thought it was beautiful; however, I made an appointment to see a 1 bdr. Unit. I then got a call from the office to tell me that "the STUDIO" that I'd made an appointment to see " had already been leased" (????) WHAT A MESS!!! I'm lucky I didn't rent here.

Bdr Unit. After reading some of the awful reviews, of theftBdr. - 8 months ago

Review by C A (Rating: 2): This place has a lot of bugs. Ants and silverfish seem to be hard to get rid of and we’ve had the exterminator here a few times. There is a lot of turnover in the leasing office. The building heater is turned on for everyone at night and there is no way to shut it off. So if you don’t like sweating all night in 100 degree heat, tough luck. I have 2 fans on and I leave all the windows open during the winter months and I still can’t sleep comfortably in the heat. No washer and dryer. No microwave and no dishwasher. The units over the garage get very hot from the sun in the afternoon and there isn’t any AC to cool it off. It’s a beautifully architected old building and that’s it’s charm. In this market, $2600 for a studio for all why you don’t get it, may not be worth it. - 4 years ago
