After online screening (reading reviews and checking out the websites) of 10+ apartments in Millbrae, San Mateo and RWC, I finally narrowed down to and toured 2 apartments in RWC, Locale and the other one. I prefer Locale because 1) it feels very welcoming with the friendly management team, cozy amenities, and clean common area (it smells nice everywhere!) 2) the apartment comes with assigned parking spot with universal charging station (if requested), and there is a community gym a clubhouse, a BBQ area, and a jacuzzi 3) Proximity to RWC downtown and Caltrain station 4) Feels very safe 5) A community group chat for the residents. I’m loving the new life here at Locale. Happily recommend it to anyone who needs to find a new place to live! - 6 months ago

Not just because of the beautiful setting, amenities, and service.. it’s about the community we’ve found here. The property manager and maintenance personnel are the amongst the nicest people we have met. They offer equal parts high standard of professionalism and genuine friendliness. We also bonded with our fellow dog loving neighbors as Locale is a super dog friendly environment. Periodically, we have fun residential events that help bring us all together and meet new residents. The apartment is very well-kept and always clean. Community is very quiet and friendly; I have never had any issues with noise. Management is great. Julie does a great job on communicating everything on-time and is very responsive. Oswaldo is very helpful, and takes care of any maintenance requests within hours.

All the appliances in the units are high quality, and overall interiors are well designed and clean.

Location is fantastic!! Walking distance to Redwood city downtown, and just a couple of minutes from 101 highway. This street is the most safe and quiet street in the area.

And I really mean it when I say community, there were frequent events to help get to know the other residents, and everyone was very friendly. Julie does a great job supporting all the residents and is very responsive. Oswaldo is always friendly and quick to repair any issues. I would highly recommend living here.

In terms of location, you have direct access to the heart of Redwood city, with walking access to grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. The garage has EV chargers which I took advantage of, it was very affordable. - 6 months ago

Review by Mark (Rating: 5): We rented our 2 bedroom unit remotely (long-distance move), but Julie (management) made it a breeze and we couldn't have been happier with our place! We absolutely loved our time at Locale. Management is amazing and Osvaldo (facilities) is super friendly and fixed any issue incredibly quickly.

Our unit was quite large - very spacious living room, kitchen was great with lots of cabinets, both bedrooms were spacious (with a walk-in closet in the master), 2 bathrooms (one especially large one), a lot of storage space for an apartment, and a nice balcony with quite a view! The building was very quiet (you can't hear your neighbors at all) and everyone we met here was very friendly.

I highly recommend Locale to anyone looking for a great apartment complex in Redwood City, and if you can grab our corner unit on the top floor, it was pretty great :) - 2 years ago
