Review by Emily Pedroza (Rating: 1): I have been a tenant for 1 year and 2 months now, for the past 3 months there’s been a shift in management.
Jade and the other woman in the office are now the property managers and were recently presented with a foul odor coming from my downstairs neighbors. Instead of performing any wellness checks or any assessment on the unit, they simply belittle the issue. Telling us to document with photos and email it to them, when in reality the photos won’t ever capture the scent that lingers on a daily basis. Either way, we address the issue to them so that we won’t have to do any documentation against our neighbors. This odor is foul and smells of feces and a decaying stench that is repulsive and potent, it genuinely makes me concerned for our health and well being. The ladies in the office do not move with urgency when it is me and my roommate who has to smell this odor day in and day out, anytime we turn on the a/c, it smells of their odor. In the middle of the night, first thing in the morning, and before going to sleep, we can smell their odor. On a regular and daily basis, my roommate and I are constantly wiping all surfaces, bleach deep cleaning our bathroom, we sweep, mop, and vacuum our unit every single day. We have purchased five different candles (one for each room) and Lysol spray just to combat the odor, when the ladies in the office continue to not make any moves toward a solution. We have asked for a new air filter and they delivered one to us that is of incorrect dimensions. And now they say a replacement of the filter will happen next week.
On top of this ongoing issue (which has been addressed seven/eight times over the past three months), they had a scheduled bug termination, scheduled for Thursday, Sept 12 from the hours of 9am-4pm. We had spoke with Jade at around 9am as she confirmed the termination was to take place on this spoken day. Requiring you to clear out all of your drawers from the bedrooms, empty the sink and drawers from the bathroom, empty every cabinet and drawer in the kitchen, and remove any pet from the unit during the termination and an hour after the service (totaling for two hours), since knowing this information, me and my roommate have been compliant and removed items from these areas and covered them with a blanket as recommended. Having it that we own a pet, we were anticipating the arrival of the contractor so that we can knowingly leave the unit with the pet accompanied by us. Allowing them to have full preparation needs met, however, come 4:20pm there was no visit. So I called the office and apparently Jade was notified earlier in the morning, that there will be a rescheduling due to other tenants not complying (unspecified details on reasons) but now it will take place the following Thursday. When I asked why she failed to communicate this information when she knew, she didn’t have a direct answer, but claimed that figuring out when to reschedule was more important then letting the tenants aware that the termination was canceled. So I waited around for minimum 6 hours, before having this information, that I had to contact her for. I let her know the inconvenience this caused and she told me that it shouldn’t have dictated my day because I could still leave and return whenever. I had to remind her that I was a pet owner so I did have to stay, and at least wait until they arrived so I can remove my pet. And if I didn’t have a pet, left and returned, I would have still not had the service done. So Jade has yet to resolve any problem brought to her attention, she has yet to effectively communicate with the tenants as a whole. I don’t expect her to stay if this is the way she plans on managing the property. - 5 months ago
Review by Katie L (Rating: 1): Don't rent here. Leasing staff Christina and Jade are rude., will constantly harass you. There is constant notes on all the doors. Roaches are infested in the entire complex.. washers and dyers always broken.
Toilet is broken, it took them almost a month to replace a broken dishwasher.
Pool is hardly cleaned and jacuzzi has never works.
Please save yourself the hassle and stay away from pinewood apartments., - a month ago
