Review by April AllYear (Rating: 5): My daughter lived there for almost 5 years. The value is significantly better than any other property she found in Austin in the 10 years she lived there, which included 5 other apartments in the 5 years prior to moving to Mackenzie Pointe.

Clean, will maintained property with a responsive management to questions or maintenance issues.

It's a gated community with an online component. Yes, everyone can figure a way to game locked gates, but being aware of surroundings is necessary in all neighborhoods, and the online community is a useful for safety issues as well.

There are a LOT of trees, so not as much grass as one might hope for, but in our Texas/hot summers, I'll take deep shade over water wasting green lawns any day.

Also, there's a nice pool in the complex which my daughter didn't utilize much - but I did on visits. - a week ago

Margaret and the whole staff are a pleasure to work with and you can tell they take pride in the level of service they offer. The onsite maintenance team is great. Quick to handle issues, professional, and friendly.

There are lot of amenities, it’s conveniently located and it’s very affordable. But most of all, Margaret and the staff work really hard. Margaret is very sweet and patient…not qualities you can easily find in property management. They’re also very communicative about issues and try their best to resolve those issues promptly. They actually care about the community and want their residents to be happy. There are also some really lovely people living there if you want to be social. If we didn’t need more space, my partner and I would’ve definitely continued to live there. We’re sad to say goodbye! - a year ago

This complex offers reasonable rent and is conveniently located near major highway access points to get around town quickly. We’ve had some things broken and they were taken care of immediately.

The area itself is growing and extremely convenient, you’ve got gyms and restaurants about 3-5 minutes away and You’re only about 10-15 minutes away from downtown, the Domain, Mueller and many other areas.
