Such a beautiful building with luxurious amenities and an Equinox gym. The location is fantastic! The people at the front desk are very professional, welcoming, and friendly, especially Joseph. The administrative staff are highly skilled and helpful.
Security is their top priority. I can’t recommend them enough! Their covered parking is very safe and spacious, with an automatic control remote available 24/7.
This place is a gem. Highly recommended. Thank you so much for everything! - a week ago | Review by Whitney E (Rating: 3):
After my self-guided tour, what I can say is that the units themselves are very beautiful and well designed with modern style and stainless-steel appliances. The residents' lounge was very nice and seemed like a great place to relax and/or get work done. The pool was also a really cool feature with its big screen poolside television attached! I could definitely see some awesome NFL pool day Sundays happening out there.
The lobby and indoor amenity spaces give off a bit of a masculine vibe, considering the dim lighting and masculine-ish fragrance pumped in. I personally would like it better without it, but others might appreciate it.
Although the units are great and amenities are nice, I could never see myself staying here simply based on what to me felt like absolutely disgusting hallways. The green/grey hallway carpets had stains everywhere and could use so much more cleaning and attention than they are getting. I feel like an excellent property manager would have had those torn out a long time ago.
In addition to the carpets, the hallways smelled like such THICK Heavy smoke and stale marijuana. It felt like there was absolutely no sort of air filtration, circulation, or something to help clear the reeking odor out of the halls.
Also, I know it is not always the fault of the apartment that some individual dog owner left a PILE of dog poop in the stairwell, but that was such a disgusting sight to see on my tour here and really sealed the deal for me.
Not only that, but according to the reviews online, the elevators are always broken down, and when I went to tour, that was certainly the case. The main elevators were broken, so rather than get lost trying to find the other elevators, we took the nearest stairs up to tour the 6th and 5th floor units and that definitely was quite the hike.
I couldn't imagine paying my hard-earned money to live in a place that does not prioritize taking care of such an important piece of equipment as the main elevators of the building, and allows such yucky conditions in the everyday paths of residents.
This apartment really has great potential, and I hope that the property manager takes care of these issues so that it can reach the full potential it has.
If you're looking for another nice apartment nearby for similar price, try the Wallace on Sunset. I toured there right after and it felt so much cleaner. - a year ago | Review by Courtney Nakatani (Rating: 1):
I applied here and paid the required deposit $500. As part of application I underwent identification verification process successfully . After taking my money the leasing office texted me that I had appear in person within 24 hours to show ID otherwise forfeit my $500 deposit! Normally not a problem but I live in Florida . I advised I could do zoom or any virtual meeting of their choice but they declined . I escalated issue to management since this requirement was not disclosed prior to application and submission of deposit otherwise I would not have applied. Instead of acknowledging or working to rectify my concern I was met with hostility and rudeness . He accused me of yelling at him and threatened to hang up but he would not let me speak my concerns so I had no choice but to raise my voice and speak over him since he refused to listen or allow me to speak. This was absolutely the worst rental experience I’ve ever had in my 30+ years and I can only imagine how management treats actual tenants if prospective ones are treated like this! I would never recommend this place to anyone not even an enemy !!! - a month ago | Review by Rafal Trojan (Rating: 1):
Although I was initially enthusiastic about moving here, I soon discovered that the staff is surprisingly hostile and shows no regard for residents' privacy. It appears that anyone from the building can access your unit at will, entering your apartment without knocking or considering whether you're home. If privacy is not a concern for you and you're comfortable with strangers entering your home unannounced, then this might be a suitable place for you. - 5 months ago | Review by Riley (Rating: 2):
I don’t even know where to begin, I am a previous tenant, I moved out of this building back in January and all I have to say is Iqra in the leasing office is incredibly rude and disrespectful. The way she talks to residents (she’s very rude to other tenants not only me) is just unprofessional and completely unnecessary. She really needs to get fired!
Everyone else in the office is super sweet and polite, so I’m not sure why they continue to employ anyone like this.
About the building:
The building used to be incredibly well maintained, but unfortunately other residents leave dog poop in the hallways and garbage all over the place.
Joseph is amazing and so sweet.
The apartments itself are not big, but are very modern, the building could really use better management and making sure they hire professional and respectful employees.
They also only have 7 guest parking spaces that residents use as their own parking, if they weren’t so money hungry, they should use the equinox parking as an extension of the guest parking. As 7 spots for a building with over 300+ units is insane. Not to mention the garage call box is always broken and the lobby elevator never is in service.
Overall I am sad to say the building for the price you’re paying is just not worth it.
For the rent price I’d go over to a true luxury building with full service and the environment to match! - 7 months ago
